Cortechs.ai brings quantifying brain volume loss to Philips’ IntelliSpace Portal 9.0

NeuroQuant will be offered in Philips’ advanced visual analysis and quantification platform to bring invaluable information to neurologists and radiologists.

(SAN DIEGO) Nov. 29, 2016 – Cortechs.ai, the leading medical software innovator providing solutions for quantitative brain volume analysis, is pleased to announce a collaboration with Philips, a global leader in health technology, to provide NeuroQuant® in Philips IntelliSpace Portal 9.0 advanced visual analysis and quantification platform. The integration enhances physicians’ resources for assessing and quantifying subcortical brain structure volumes with the aim to improve outcomes for the growing group of patients with neurological disorders.

As an FDA cleared, CE marked and Health Canada licensed medical device and used by over 700 clinical institutions worldwide, NeuroQuant provides automatic, accurate and consistent measurements of brain structures through 3D T1 MRI images, providing physicians the ability to easily review, assess, and monitor brain structure volume over time, with volumes compared to age- and gender-matched norms.

“We’re excited to work with Philips to provide our advanced innovation through NeuroQuant to neurologists and radiologists worldwide,” said Guri Stark, Cortechs.ai’ CEO. “We believe this collaboration will significantly benefit clinicians in their assessment of neurological conditions and provide a consistent measurement solution for the assessment and progression monitoring of brain development and brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury and more.”

“This collaboration with Cortechs.ai strengthens our commitment to developing meaningful and integrated neurology-focused solutions that provide healthcare professionals with enhanced quantifiable clinical insights to help their patients. By complementing our Philips IntelliSpace Portal visual analysis and quantification platform with Cortechs.ai’ volumetric image processing, we are bringing additional valuable data to physicians to aid in their clinical assessments and disease progression monitoring,” said Yair Briman, General Manager Healthcare IT at Philips.
