Clinical relevance of brain volume measures in MS

Findings from a number of recent studies have prompted debates on the clinical relevance of brain volume change as a measure of neurological and neuropsychological disability. This article reviews the current understanding of the implications of brain volume changes in MS, including the effects of disease-modifying treatments (DMTs).
